CAPSUCURCUMIN

CAPSUCURCUMIN is an innovative polymeric delivery system based on ECOSTRATAR technology of polycarbamate/polyurea capsules with 3% encapsulated curcumin. It can be used as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent.

The main purpose is to integrate the active ingredient into a delivery system that enhances its stability, facilitates its incorporation into cosmetic formulations thanks to its easy dispersibility in water, and allows for a more prolonged and controlled release of the active ingredient.

Additionally, it eliminates the need for intense stirring, excessive shear, or the use of extra emulsifiers and solvents, making its application in cosmetic products easier.

This essential property is due to the sophisticated design of the capsule, which serves two key functions: on one hand, the biodegradability and biocompatibility of the polymers make the system suitable for skin care; on the other hand, it prevents the premature degradation of the active ingredient, maintaining its beneficial activity until the moment of application and release.

These capsules are designed to release their active ingredients under redox conditions. The redox environment gradually breaks down the capsule wall, allowing the active ingredient to be progressively released over time. These redox conditions are naturally present in the skin microbiome, ensuring a controlled and sustained release of the active ingredient.

This product is recommended for skin care formulations such as creams, lotions, and serums.
